Performing at the Vogue Theatre was like coming home. The folks I worked with there, were generously kind and overflowing with patience. It’s such a great atmosphere of vintage flavour... that you won’t wanna leave! Or at the very least, you’ll wanna come back again! Loved my experience at The Vogue.
— Sheryl Scott, Playwright and Actor
I grew up watching movies at the Vogue Theatre in Miramichi and when I heard the venue was reopening to offer live entertainment, I knew I wanted to perform stand-up comedy on this historical stage. In Winter 2017, I was able to make this dream come true.

Victor Somers and his team have done a wonderful job restoring the building into a beautiful staple for the arts community and the theatre lovers on the Miramichi. Their passion for the arts is paramount and their steadfast dedication to the Vogue is true and clear.
— Jimmy MacKinley, Stand-Up Comedian
I grew up going to the vogue theatre in the 80’s, I watched as it withered in the 90’s and 00’s due to neglect, Victor and his tribe have revitalized a local landmark and the community has shown its true support and love for it again.

Thanks and love!

A truly magical and special theatre. One of a kind. Genuinely one of the most delightful venues I have ever seen. I will definitely be back and I implore others to check it out. As well as having all its original fixtures, it has state of the art equipment - a dream come true for any movie lover or anyone with an interest in any genre of performance art.
— James Mullinger, Stand-Up Comedian
Both a magnet and multiplier for community and arts/culture. A gigantic asset.
— Chad Duplessie, Miramichi City Councillor
I’m completely onside with resorting the Vogue as the cultural capital of town. Best acoustics on the river!
